Frequently arising problems of production:
- Incorrect adjustments of sheets can cause discrepancies of several millimetres in position between print to structure
- These discrepancies can result in unattractive appearance of the unfolded cardboard boxes
- Complaints boost production costs and decrease customer satisfaction

Troubleshooting with PtS - Print to Structure Measuring:
The PTS-System operates a print to structure measurement. Incorrect sheets generate an error signal. This error signal can be used to stop the machine or inform the machine operator to separate out a sheet, by initiating an optic or acoustic signal.
The following figure shows an overview of the operating mode of the print to structure system. The camera takes a picture of the printer's imprint, which is printed on the hook's edge. This picture is taken during the machine stop for separation of good and waste.
An industrial PC with touch-screen monitor forms the heart of the system. This industrial PC is integrated in a strong aluminium shell together with the complete control electronics. As it is attached to a turnable restraint system the operating personal can choose any favoured position of the monitor.
The software enables the operator to supervise the whole production process. By displaying the current picture, the adjustment of the printer's imprint can be observed. Must-values for the coordinates and limits of maximum discrepancies can be set. Statistic values such as average and standard deviation give fast overviews of the quality of a process. Faulty sheets can be identified fast by a simulated deck of sheets that indicates the exact position of flawed sheets. Therefore you can deliver your customers with a hundred per cent accurate products.
